About the Firm

We provide attentive, highest‑quality, personalized legal services. When you retain a member of our firm, you work directly with that partner. Your legal work will not be assigned to young associates learning how to practice law by working on your case, nor will you be billed for repeated status meetings between partners and junior associates.

Each of our partners has experience and skill in different areas of law and dispute resolution. Our partners occasionally team up to pool specialized knowledge when our clients will benefit,  but we know from experience that hierarchical, multi‑lawyer teams are neither necessary nor cost effective to provide excellent legal counsel and representation to most clients.

In areas of law in which we do not practice, such as criminal law, taxation, original bankruptcy petitions, evictions, or estate planning, we maintain relationships with excellent lawyers in those fields and make referrals when our clients need them.

We are happy to schedule short (15‑20 minute) telephone conferences at no charge for potential clients who wish to talk with a partner and inquire about the lawyer’s background, experience and terms of engagement.

We represent individuals, families, and businesses of all sizes.  We are efficient and responsive. Every client, whether an individual or a large business, matters to us and receives the same high quality attention from our partners.

We know that very few clients have unlimited budgets for legal services.  We advise our clients about the costs as well as the possible benefits of various problem‑solving approaches, and always consider non-court based solutions for legal disputes and conflicts where that is a realistic option.
